Our Pastor

Pastor Andrew Unger came to faith in Christ at the age of 10, and by 17, he felt a strong call to preach. This pivotal moment deepened his commitment to prayer and Bible study as he sought to understand God's will for his life. After hearing a sermon on "a call to missions," he responded to God's call, unsure of where it would lead him.

In time, it became clear that God was directing him to Albuquerque, NM. Pastor Andrew, along with his family, made the move, initially gathering in a conference room. Through God's provision, they eventually secured a building in the South Valley and held the grand opening of Solid Rock Baptist Church on May 26, 2024.

Pastor Andrew, his wife Laura, and their son Drew are excited to serve the community and invite anyone interested in learning more about the Lord to plan a visit to church.
