Our Beliefs

Statement Of Faith

A Bible Baptist is one who believes in a supernatural Bible, which tells of a supernatural Christ, Who had a supernatural birth, Who spoke supernatural words, Who performed supernatural miracles, Who lived a supernatural life, Who died a

supernatural death, Who rose in supernatural splendor, Who intercedes as a supernatural priest, and Who will one day return in supernatural glory to establish a supernatural kingdom on the earth.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is found perfectly preserved today in the Authorized Version King James Bible. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Psalm 12:6-7; 2 Timothy 3:16

Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified, risen and coming in the clouds for his church and soon after coming back to earth to establish his Kingdom. 1 Timothy 3:16; Matt. 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; John 14:1-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Luke 1:33 Revelation 11:15; 19:11-16

Man

We believe all men are sinners and that sin and death entered this world through the first man, Adam. Genesis 3; Romans 3:10-23; 5:12

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again on the third day. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; John 5:24

Eternal Security

We believe the born again child of God is eternally secure in Christ and is indwelt, regenerated, comforted, and sealed by the Holy Ghost until the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:12-13; 4:30 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:13; John 14:16-17; 26; Titus 3:5; Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:38-39

Heaven

We believe in a literal, paradise known as heaven where the saints will reside with God. John 14:1-3; 2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Revelation 21:1-5

Hell

We believe in a literal, burning, hell as described plainly in the Bible. Luke 16:19-31; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 20:11-15

Church

We are independent. This means our local assembly is self-governing and is not connected to a denominational headquarters or convention. The Pastor is the overseer under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ and the authority of scripture. 1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Timothy 3:1-14; Acts 6:1-6; Hebrews 13:7; 17

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." - Psalms 119:105
